Depasa has been involved in dredging activities within Nigeria for the past 30 years, mainly in the Lagos area. Since 2005 we have been maintaining the Lagos Channel under the supervision of the NPA through Lagos Channel Management (LCM). During this time our dredgers have been operating 24/7 in the Lagos Channels in order to increase and maintain the desired water depth.
Depasa has a dedicated department for wreck removal that specializes in removing and / or monitoring all types of wrecks that are obstacles to the safe navigation within the Lagos Channels.
Depasa provides turnkey wreck removal package that includes surveying, detection, marking, removing, cleaning and cutting. All our work is carried out to highest HSSEQ standards having due regard to the safety of our people and the environment.

Depasa understands the effect dredging may have on water properties and surrounding habitats. To this end Depasa is capable of water monitoring, which allows it to plan our operations in such a way so as to minimize its environmental footprint. The information ensures a healthier ecosystem for the marine flora, fauna and human that work in and live near these waterways.
Depasa’s has a dedicated survey department is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and technology. The department is headed by five certified surveyors who oversee the day to day activities. We operate three survey vessels that are equipped with the latest survey equipment and perform the following surveys:

Depasa has a specialized department of Aid to Navigation. The department, in line with Depasa’s philosophy, is “One Stop Shop” for all items related to Aids and Navigation and we are giving service from A to Z in that area. Among our services in that field are:
